Glamping in Shropshire

We would like to welcome you to our family run glamping site, in the countryside near the lakeside town of Ellesmere, Shropshire.
Our cosy pods and shepherd hut are on a quiet country lane, but close to amenities- the nearest pub being just 1.5miles away and nearest supermarket/fuel/electric charging just 2 miles away.
Bluebell Shepherd Hut and Willow glamping pod, both have their own hot tubs.
All units welcome dogs too (free of charge)

• General information

  Welcome to Shropshire.

  Our small, family run glamping site is sited next to a wooded dingle, down a quite country lane, near the lakeside town of Ellesmere, Shropshire.

  We are very close to local amenities, with the nearest pub just 1.5 miles away and nearest supermarket just 2 miles away, this also sells fuel and has electric charging points.

  Our cosy, well insulated  pods and shepherd hut are well equipped with heater, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and outside picnic table.

  Bluebell Shepherd Hut and Willow glamping pod have their own hot tubs too.

  Dogs are welcome in all accommodation, at no extra charge.

• Accommodation

  Bluebell Shepherd hut sleeps up to 4 guests, has a hot tub, bedding, crockery and cutlery provided.

  Willow pod sleeps up to 4 guests, and has a hot tub

  Ash Pod sleeps up to 2 guests, double bed with bedding supplied

  Oak and Beech pods, both sleep up to 4 guests.

• Prices

  Bluebell £147.50 per night (min 2 night stay)

  Willow pod £135 per night (min 2 night stay)

  Ash Pod £85 per night (min 2 night stay)

  Oak and Beech Pods £70 per night no min stay

• Facilities

  Modern, bright, showe and toilet facilities on site, along with a sun room and washing up facilities.

• Things to do onsite and nearby

  Ellesmere, lovely lakeside town with walks arounf lakes and canals, independant shops.

  Oswestry-the gateway to Wales- Hill Fort/Old Race Course for lovely walks.

  Llangollen- visit Wales, for steam trains and horsedrawn canal boats, and the Horseshoe Pass.

  National Trust Properties-Chirk Castle, Erddig Hall, Attingham Park and Powis Castle.

  Park Hall- Countryside Experience- fun family day out with the Children

  British Ironworks, interesting sculpture park

  Shrewsbury- lovely town with river boat rides, the Dingle park, and even a jail to visit  (just for the day!)

  Chester- Visit this Roman City, explore the town walls, dress up as a Roman for the day, and have some retail therapy.

  Alderford Lake at Whitchurch- Lots of water sports available

  Bewilderwood- great family day out near Malpas.
