Glamping in Herefordshire

Located in a remote riverside setting in rural Herefordshire, our fully equipped tipis provide the ultimate glamping experience.

We have 11 tipis sleeping up to 6 people in each. We provide all that you need - just bring food, drink & towels. The tipis are spaced out to avoid disturbance from other guests. Get in touch to pre-book a range of outdoor pursuits. Suitable for all groups large or small!

• General information

  Our tipis are set among the ancient oak trees at our picture-perfect riverside location within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. No trip to the Wye Valley is complete without an excursion on the River Wye, and our sweeping gravel beach offers a great spot for launching/landing your canoes!

   

  All kitchenware & bedding is included - all that you need to bring is food, drink & towels! 

  
  Get in touch to pre-book a range of activities: canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, gorge walking, climbing, abseiling, archery, bushcraft & survival. We can also advise on all there is to see & do in the area, including walks, cycle trails, places of interest, cider tasting experiences, clay shooting, Go Ape etc.

• Accommodation

  Within each tipi you will find:
  
  Kitchenware: crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, utensils, kettle, tea/coffee/sugar, small gas stove, chopping board, washing up bowl/liquid/sponge/tea-towel.
  
  Bedding: futon sofas which extend into beds, duvets or sleeping bags (please specify upon booking), pillows, blankets, bed linen.
  
  Firewood: 1 bag of kiln-dried firewood per tipi per night (additional bags available to buy onsite), kindling, charcoal, matches & flamers.
  
  Campfire: 1 large firepit with removable BBQ grills per group. Indoor firepits are an optional extra available at £40 per tipi for 2 nights + £10/night thereafter.

   

  We also have a Shepherds Hut, sleeping 2, equipped with:

  Kitchenware: crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, utensils, electric kettle, tea/coffee/sugar, small gas stove, chopping board, washing up bowl/liquid/sponge/tea-towel.

  Bedding: sofa which extends into a super king sized bed, duvet, pillows, blankets, bed linen. 

  Firewood: 1 basket of kiln-dried firewood per night (additional bags available to buy onsite), kindling, charcoal, matches & flamers. 

  Campfire: 1 outdoor firepit with removable BBQ grill. Indoor logburner. 

• Prices

  Tipis:

  £225 per tipi, per night (min. 2 night stay)

  Discounts available for group bookings + multi night stays. 

   

  Shepherds Hut:

  £85 per night (min. 2 night stay)

• Facilities

  Each group will be allocated their own communal space outside of their tipi(s) complete with picnic benches, festoon lights & a large firepit with removable grills for cooking over. 

  Large cool boxes & ice packs available for guest use (please pre-book). Ice packs can be replenished throughout your stay. 

  Toilet block with 12 cubicles. Shower block with 8 cubicles. Toilets & showers are allocated to groups so these are not shared with others onsite. 

  Fresh running water onsite with communal washing up station. 

• Things to do onsite and nearby

  The most popular activity is self-guided canoeing. A local canoe company will come to the tipis, put you on the water and you'll paddle off downstream. A safety briefing will be given beforehand, and all equipment provided. Minibus shuttle to return you to the site afterwards. You can also try kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, gorge walking, archery, climbing/abseiling, axe throwing and bushcraft sessions. 

  Locally there are plenty of lovely walks and pubs which we can recommend. Nearby we have clay shooting, Go Ape, Forest Segway, Pedalabikeaway Cycle Centre, Cider Tasting Tours, Goodrich Castle, and more!
