  • The yurts themselves are nestled in trees on the edge of Sopley Lake. Backed on to by a meadow and stream lined with wild flowers during the summer months. The lake is abundant with wild fowl and fish (fishing is available), and other visitors to Sopley Lake yurts include a barn owl, roe and fallow deer. We have four sites available with a total of five yurts, each site has it's own private facilities including campfire, bathroom with eco-loo and hot shower, and fully equipped sheltered cooking station. The yurts have been individually decorated by our interior designer, each yurt is unique and filled with furnishings from the Far East, North Africa and the Middle East. All you have to bring is food and drink (although fresh produce available locally) and personal items. We provide towels and bedding, tableware and kitchenware. Logs available on site. Whether you are after a romantic weekend, getting away with the kids, or looking to experience glamping in the UK, Sopley Lake Yurt Camp will surpass your expectations.

New for 2015 - The Maharaja's Yurt - heavily influenced from the North West of India, our new spectacular offering for this coming season. Our interior designer has toured the bazaars and markets of the Punjab, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh and returned with some fantastic furnishings to line the Maharaja's residence.
