  • We are in West Wales, in the county of Ceredigion if you have not been here before then imagine Cornwall without the crowds of tourists and traffic. We have empty hills and mountains, miles of beautiful sandy beaches, pretty towns and villages, castles and a proud and vibrant Welsh culture.

On site you can explore the ponds (children must be accompanied by an adult), run around the meadow, bring kites, balls, frizbees.  Or follow one of the footpaths which run from here.  Choose between short strolls through woodland or a round trip up the hill from where you can see down the Aeron Valley to the sea.  Or pack a picnic and walk along footpaths all the way to Aberaeron town and the seaside.

We are located 4 miles inland from Cardigan Bay and the small, pretty Georgian Harbour town of Aberaeron, famous for its brightly coloured buildings and honey ice cream. Aberaeron provides for most everyday needs with a tourist information centre, library, banks, independent butcher, baker, delicatessen, a small supermarket, post office and a range of boutique shops and good eateries.

Aside from the beaches and mountains you can also go seal and dolphin spotting, ride horses, hire bikes, head to a local town to sample a farmers market.  Llanerchaeron National Trust property is 2 miles down the road with its beautiful walled gardens, acres of woodland to explore and great cafe to retire to for lunch or tea and cake.  There are nature reserves, mountains to climb, a hidden secret garden in the local village and this is just the free stuff!
