  • A stay in one of our fabulous tents offers all the charms of camping but with those cosy treats that make it a luxury experience.  With a wooden floor, wood burning stove, comfy sofa and beds, oil lamps and an inside ‘flushing loo you will feel very much at home. 

    Yet for all its modern luxuries (duvets, pillows, range cooker) you will find there are enough traditions for those seeking the camping experience! Campfires outside your tent allow you to share the evening with the stars, toasting marshmallows over the open fire and inhaling the country air.

  • Our fabulous Safari tents are comfy and cosy and very spacious. They sleep 6 people with a master bedroom with king size bed, a twin or bunk second bedroom and the now famous  sleeping “cupboard” bed which is a favourite with children! 

    One of the tents has a sofa bed so can accommodate up to eight.  There is also an indoor flushing loo, a dining area and a superb deck where you can marvel at the mountains. You will find hot showers located nearby.

  • All prices are per tent in £ Sterling and tents sleep a maximum of 6 persons (one of the tents can sleep 2 extra on a sofa bed but this must be specified – call  07870728002

    • Week runs from/to any Friday or Monday 3pm until 10.30am
    • Weeknd bookings run from Friday 3pm until Monday 10.30am

    Pricing Notes


    We provide bed linen for your safari lodge.  This includes bottom sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase.  Please note that beds will need to be made at the beginning of your stay and stripped at the end.

    Please bring towels and tea towels or you may hire them.


    An allocation of firewood for your wood burning stove is included in your stay. This should be enough to meet the majority of your cooking and heating requirements but additional wood can be purchased should you need it.

    Kitchen area

    Cooking utensils are provided and include pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware kettle for the stove and cafetiere.  Cold water is drinkable  There is a cool box for keeping items cool with ice packs  that can be replenished. A fridge, in the farm larder provides extra cooling space and the wood burning stove will meet your cooking needs and keep you cosy.


    There is no electricity in the tents so we provide rechargeable torches, lanterns and solar lights. We also provide an initial supply of candles and paraffin lamps.

  • For those handy in the kitchen there is plenty to help you with your task;  a kitchen sink with running water, kitchen unit, large cool box,  pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery.

    You can cook a roast or a crumble in the amazing wood burning stove/range or simply warm up a dish on the top. It is perfect for all your cooking and heating needs but if you prefer, you can barbecue and there is a fire pit and barbecue available for this.

    There is no electricity but there are oil lamps, candles and rechargeable lighting to give you light as the night draws in.

  • Beaches

    The beaches in the area are truly magnificent. Travel north for 30 minutes and you can enjoy miles of glorious, sandy beaches that are really wide and the perfect place to splash in the surf, build a sandcastle or simply relax and enjoy the view. They include Magilligan, Benone, and award winning Downhill and Castle Rock. There are national trust beaches too at Port Stewart Strand and White Park Bay. Travel a little further and reach the wild and wonderful beaches of Donegal. Wherever you go the beaches are mostly quiet and you may well be the only one there!     Walkers / Horse Riders

    Overlooking the Sperrins, you are surrounded by beautiful walking country and there is also plenty to explore further afield.  A good website to look at for walking in N. Ireland is Walk NI which is worth checking out for all levels of walking. There is also NI Horse riding! More information on a how to get involved in a wide range of outdoor activities can also be found here.   There is also Banaher Dam and old church very close by along with some lovely forests such as Ness Wood.


    The Causeway Coast boasts some of the finest golf courses in Ireland including the world famous Royal Portrush Golf Club which hosted the 2012 Irish Open. Fabulous links courses can also be found at Ballyreagh, Castlerock, Ballycastle and Ballyliffin in Donegal. There are also some excellent parkland courses, including Malone, Belvoir Park and Royal Belfast. Galgorm Castle has emerged as a great contemporary golf course. Roe Park Golf Club is a very pleasant golf club located nearby.
