Hollyhock Lodge is nestled within its own glade offering peace, tranquillity and a great base to explore the North York Moors National Park and nearby beautiful coast from.
We are couples only. No children.
Hollyhock Lodge has sheep wool insulation, oak framed double glazed windows and ensuite facilities to make your stay comfortable whatever the weather.

  • Hollyhock Lodge is a luxury glamping lodge located within our private woodland.   Why not relax in the double hammock by the fire pit and watch the sun set. Alternatively you could snuggle on the sofa admiring the views or watch TV or a DVD. Be sure to keep a look out for our evening and early morning guests which may include Roe Deer, Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Bats, Hares and of course Sheep! 


  • Hollyhock Lodge has been designed for couples who are wanting a romantic break, a place to relax or a comfy base to explore from. Every detail of Hollyhock Lodge has been chosen to make your stay with us an unforgettable magical experience. 

    Feel free to explore our private woods too as each season brings its own delights. Some say there are fairies to be found in the ancient woods....



  • Hollyhock Lodge is priced per night.


    £130 per night

    3 nights or more a 5% reduction

    5 nights or more a 10% reduction 

    £20 surcharge for one dog payable upon arrival. 


    Upon arrival you will be greeted with a welcome pack which will include your chosen drink, bread, milk, our free range eggs and a tasty treat from our local bakery.

     We have a glampers parking area which is located 150 metres from the lodge. Access to the lodge is by foot only. 


  • Birch House Farm is located within the North York Moors National Park. This is one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the UK and incorporates some of the best views and picturesque villages in the country.

    We are surround by award winning eateries and local farmers markets and during the summer months an abundance of agricultural and local produce shows. 

    Looking across the valley from Hollyhock Lodge you will see Grosmont which is famous for the North York Moors Steam Railway. A 15 minute walk meandering down the valley brings you to the Murk Ask which is a perfect place to spot a Dipper, Kingfisher or a Heron. Crossing over the bridge brings you to the steam railway. Here you can enjoy the 1952 themed station and visit the engine sheds and the oldest Co-op in the UK, established in 1867. 

    Nearby Goathland is famous not only for providing the backdrop to the popular TV series Heartbeat but was also Hogwarts Railway Station in Harry Potter. 

    The Yorkshire Coast is a 20 minute drive away and encompasses some if the UK's most rugged and charming countryside from tiny fishing villages to glorious sandy beaches. 

    Whitby is home to Dracula and the best fish and chips in the country. Why not climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey or explore the tiny cobbled streets and buy some Whitby Jet.
