The cosy under canvas glamping site is in a beautiful woodland and water meadow, close to Hay on Wye, Wales. Even a short stay here offers the perfect antidote to a busy hectic lifestyle. Eco friendly, warm and cosy and everything provided.

Our three Kata tipis are based on a traditional design but use 21st Century fabrics and construction techniques to provide a wind-resistant, sophisticated space that is easy to keep warm and homely, perfect for the Welsh climate!

The unique design of the Geodomes went down a storm with our guests last year. They create more space without internal supports than any other structure and are posh camping at it best with a comfy double bed and huge beanbags.

Each tipi and dome, sits on a wooden platform and comfortably sleeps four adults, two on a double futon bed and two on roll out futon mattresses. The domes can sleep up to 6. The beds and futons are topped with luxurious, contemporary welsh blankets, cushions and throws and the floors are covered in rugs and sheepskins.

To complete the cosy camping experience all units have a stylish wood burning stove that can be stoked up to keep you toasty over night. Getting back to basics and lighting a campfire is positively encouraged and you can cook on it or in the embers, have a BBQ or knock yourself something up on the camping stove in the shared deck kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped with traditional enamel crockery, pots, pans, cutlery and cooking utensils, a cool box and storage box for dried food. There's also plenty of undercover seating for everyone or take a picnic blanket and enjoy the sunshine. There are compost loos in the woods and there's a wet room a short walk away for that all important hot shower!
