Seithfed Nef is Welsh for 'Seventh Heaven' which we think suits our glamp site to a tee. With only three large bell tents located in 8 acres of farmland, peace and quiet is guaranteed, unless of course you take exception to the cuckoo's song, the splash of an occasional brown trout rising in our private pond or the sound of a trickling stream. The site is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is surrounded by stunning scenery where footpaths, beaches, lakes and rivers abound. We're confident that the views from Seithfed Nef are amongst the most beautiful from any glamp site in Britain. We currently have three large bell tents each located in a different field and approximately 80m to 100m apart. Each tent includes a woodburning stove a double bed, two futons, a sideboard, two bedside cabinets and a few bits and bobs. The tents are furnished to a high standard and come with a small selection of playing cards, board games, magazines and books. They include a complimentary welcome tray containing a variety of food items and a bottle of wine. Our cooking and dining facilities are located in a 300 year old stone cow shed furnished with straw bales as seating and a wood-burning stove to sit by and relax. All roads and paths within two or three minutes walk form your tent have stunning views of open farmland towards the mountains of Snowdonia or views of the sea. On clear days from a small hilltop, two or three minutes walk from our entrance gate, you can see the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. As the land at Seithfed Nef has never been intensively farmed it attracts wildlife of all sorts including hares, rabbits, foxes, badgers and a variety of wild birds including grey herons, buzzards and woodpeckers. Each May the cuckoo visits us. This is therefore a perfect place to unwind and take things as they come.
